Learner.should_module_be_updated(module_id: str, multi_agent_batch: MultiAgentBatch | None = None) → bool[source]#

Returns whether a module should be updated or not based on self.config.

Parameters:

  • module_id (str) – The ModuleID that we want to query on whether this module should be updated or not.

  • multi_agent_batch (MultiAgentBatch | None) – An optional MultiAgentBatch to possibly provide further information on the decision on whether the RLModule should be updated or not.

Returns:

True if the RLModule under module_id should be updated (trained), False otherwise.

Return type:

bool
